Event Information

Registrations

Registrations will be in the marquee at Lake Hume Resort on Friday, 18th October from 4pm until 8pm, and again on Saturday, 19th October from 6am until 10am sharp.

Fishing Competition Sections

  • Major Prize: All entries go into the draw to win a Quintrex Mercury boat, trailer and motor package.
  • Lure Wall: Place a lure on the wall, old or new, and go into the draw for your chance to win the entire wall!
  • Senior Yellowbelly Catch and Release: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest Yellowbelly by a Senior.
  • Senior Redfin: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest Redfin by a Senior.
  • Senior Trout: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest Trout by a Senior.
  • Senior European Carp: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest European Carp by a Senior.
  • Junior Yellowbelly Catch and Release: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest Yellowbelly by a Junior.
  • Junior Redfin: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest Redfin by a Junior.
  • Junior Trout: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest Trout by a Junior.
  • Junior European Carp: Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd longest European Carp by a Junior.
  • DAIWA Team Event: Teams may consist of up-to four participants. Winning team determined by longest measured length of Yellowbelly only.
  • BLA Champion Angler: Yellowbelly (Golden Perch) only. Prizes awarded for overall champion in Open Senior and Junior. Winner determined by total measured length of Yellowbelly only.
  • Wilson Fishing: Senior first place winners in all species.

Prizes and Presentations

The presentations and prizes will be held immediately after the collation of results.
This is estimated to be at around 1pm on Sunday, 20th October 2024.
In the event of more than one fish of equal longest length, the first registered will be declared the winner. Competitors can only win ONE prize in each fishing section, apart from the random draw prizes.
Random / Spot prize Draws will be conducted at 8pm on the Saturday night. To receive the prize your registration card must be presented. If a spot prize is not claimed it will be redrawn.
All prizes in the Lake Hume Classic 2024 are subject to availability.

Meals

Meals can be purchased at the competitors expense.
Alcoholic and soft drinks will be available for sale from the meals area. No BYO.
